Frequently Asked Questions

Lots of places! We have regular classes in our studios in both Los Angeles and New York, NY. Our Los Angeles location is located in Brentwood at 13050 San Vicente Blvd, suite 202, on the corner of San Vicente and 26th Street, inside the Brentwood Town Center.. Our New York City location is on the Upper West Side at 131 W 72nd St. between Amsterdam and Columbus. We also hold a full schedule of virtual classes that are held through Zoom and we offer a full On Demand library of classes that designed to be done at home.

These classes are for anybody and everybody! We welcome all experience levels into all of our classes, you absolutely do not need to be a dancer or have any kind of background in dance. If you have danced before, then that’s great too!

Appropriate footwear for our classes is regular socks, sticky socks, or ballet slippers. For our outdoor classes, we recommend sneakers or barefoot. You’ll probably be most comfortable in ballet slippers, but if you don’t have them, don’t worry, socks are totally fine! CLICK HERE to purchase ballet slippers.
Barre is designed to build muscle using isometric contractions through movements inspired by ballet. By contrast, Cardio Ballet is dance fitness class, designed to get you in dancer shape through dance choreography! We believe a dancer’s body is a body that dances, and the best way to achieve a ballet body is training like a ballet dancer… Ballet dancers take ballet class everyday! We start with a basic ballet warm up and then move to center, where the instructor will guide you through longer ballet combinations across the floor. However, we do love Barre as well! Our total Body Barre class combines traditional barre exercises with traditional ballet exercises to give you an intense full body workout.
It’s both! We use repetition of basic ballet exercises, the resistance of gravity, light impact, and optional wrist weights to elevate your heart rate through dance. The cardio will sneak up on you because you’ll be so focused on the fun exercises, but we promise, by the end of class, you will be dripping in sweat and you will feel the burn!
All of our classes are appropriate for all levels, but YES we have two specific virtual classes geared toward beginners: Ballet Breathe & Flow with Liz Wednesdays at 5:30pm ET and our Beginner Ballet Series with Jennifer Mondays at 6:30pm ET. We also offer private and semi-private lessons! Work with any of our highly skilled and experienced teachers to achieve your personal goals. Email [email protected] for more information.
Absolutely! If you’re totally new, you can try 2 Live Streams for the price of 1 – $7 each, $14 total, or your first month of an On Demand subscription for only $10! CLICK HERE for more information on pricing. If you’ve already done that and want to take more classes, we offer discounts on your first 5 Live Stream package.
